Greater Allegheny Men's Soccer began its season 1-1 after playing in the Hilbert College Tournament in Hamburg, NY, just outside of Buffalo.
GA dropped a tough first game against a fantastic USCAA Division 1 opponent in Bryant and Stratton Rochester.
Game 2 on Saturday fared better for the men from McKeesport taking down Villa Maria College 7-1 to pick up their first win of the season.
First year player, Bryson Janicke had a hat trick. First year player Isaiah Soto added 2 goals, and Sophomore Cameron Downey added a goal and an assist. GA threw 29 shots, 14 on goal in the win.
Greater Allegheny opens their home portion of the schedule on Wednesday at 4pm against Central Penn College.
