19-Point Week Qualifies Loftus for PSUAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week
University Park, Pa. - Through a 2-1 week for the Penn State Greater Allegheny women's soccer team, senior captain Melissa Loftus (Oxford, Pa./Oxford) has earned herself the Penn State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC) Women's Soccer Player of the Week for the week of 10/04/2016.
University Park, Pa. - Through a 2-1 week for the Penn State Greater Allegheny women's soccer team, senior captain Melissa Loftus (Oxford, Pa./Oxford) has earned herself the Penn State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC) Women's Soccer Player of the Week for the week of 10/04/2016.
The midfielder capitalized on six goals in the 9-3 PSUAC victory over Penn State Worthington-Scranton, Sunday afternoon. Before that, Melissa netted one goal in the 3-2 overtime slight over Mont Alto after she added one goal and three assists in the non-conference win over WCCC, 7-0.
Loftus is now 5th place in the PSUAC for goals with nine, third in assists with five, third in overall points with 23 and fifth in overall shots with 43.
