Pittsburgh, Pa. - The Penn State Greater Allegheny women's soccer team traveled to Highmark Stadium on Monday afternoon to play a non-conference game against Point Park's JV team.
GA played well the first half, only letting up two goals. Freshman Kristina Dague (Pittsburgh, Pa./Woodland Hills) took two shots on goal, both being saved. Freshman Taylor Bayes (Grove City, Ohio/Grove City) took three shots, two of which were cut short by the goaltender.
Freshman goaltender Nana Kennedy-Kwofie (Kenya) stopped 19 shots on goal, letting seven slip past.
Penn State Greater Allegheny will host their first home game of the season as they welcome Lincoln (Pa.) to Turner Valley on Thursday. Kick-off is set for 4 p.m.
