Christian Corrals the Competition for Greater Allegheny Wrestling in the 2015 NCWA Championships

Allen, Texas - With his performances at the Mid-East Qualifiers, 235-pound freshman Rodjrecko Christian (Pittsburgh, Pa./Westinghouse) represented the Penn State Greater Allegheny wrestling team in Allen, Texas at the 2015 National Collegiate Wrestling Championships (NCWA), Thursday and Friday.

Rodjrecko won his first-round match on Thursday by a score of 9-8 over Texas State's, Trae Rodriguez. Christian lassoed in his ticket to the quarter-finals with a second-round 8-5 triumph over University of Akron's, Hunter Topolski.

On Friday, Rodjrecko dropped by a score of 3- to US Naval Academy Prep's, Thomas Ott. Through his consolation match, the freshman was roped in and pinned by Stevan Webb of the University of Connecticut.
