GA Wrestling Squad Travels to USCAA/PSUAC Championship Invitational
State College, Pa. - The Penn State Greater Allegheny men's wrestling team traveled to University Park, where the squad competed in the USCAA/PSUAC Championship Invitational, Sunday afternoon.

Freshman Marcus Slivinski (Plainville, Ct./ Plainville) dropped his first bout in the 165 pound weight class against Konner Kramer of Alfred State by technical fall. Freshman Colin Dalrymple (North Huntingdon, Pa./Norwin) was next up to face-off against Apprentice School's John Rodriguez, where he lost by fall. This outcome would send Marcus into a chance to compete for 6th place.
Dalrymple next sparred off against Penn State DuBois' Nate Rogers, where Dalrymple came out victorious by a 6-3 decision. Marcus was next up to battle against a Penn State DuBois' athlete. Slivinski lost his second match, 19-4, by a technical fall decision to Joe Knarr.
Colin's third match was against another Penn State DuBois adversary, Tige Woodson. Dalrymple fell 10-5. This match sends the freshman into an opportunity for 5th place.
Marcus dropped his final match against Apprentice School in a 11-3 decision.
Dalrymple closed the day, as the freshman gained a 10-2 victory over Penn College's Michael Failla. With this triumph, Dalrymple earned himself a 5th place finish.
Penn State Greater Allegheny placed 8th with a team score of 13.5.
