Three Wrestlers Place 3rd in PSUAC/USCAA Championships

State College, Pa- In their first year competing in collegiate wrestling, Greater Allegheny left a strong mark on the PSUAC.  Capping off their season at the PSUAC/USCAA Championships, GA finished 5th in the overall team standings, and had 3 wrestlers place 3rd in their respective classes.

  At 149, Freshman Matt Lago (Penn Trafford) defeated Jake Durbin (Penn State Fayette) 6-1, to earn his 3rd place finish.  Wrestling in 165, Freshman Michael Pavasko (Steel Valley) ended his strong season with a victory over Penn State New Kensington's, Mitchell Robinson, while fellow Freshman Andre Ellis (Steel Valley) earned his 3rd place finish with a 9-0 victory over his 285 opponent.  Freshman Bobby Williams also turned in a strong performance, placing 5th at 125.
