Men's Soccer Player of the Week 2
Michael Damoah, Penn State Greater Allegheny
Michael Damoah, a first-year midfielder, scored his first collegiate goal against Bryant & Stratton (Buffalo). It was also the team's only goal in the game. Overall, Damoah tallied one goal, one assist and six shots during the week as Penn State Greater Allegheny went 1-1, losing to Bryant & Stratton but getting a 6-0 shutout of Thiel College, 6-0. The team travels to Christendom on Sept. 11, and returns home against Penn State Lehigh Valley on Sept. 14.
Men's Soccer Defender/Goalie of the Week 2
Chris Klinger, Penn State Greater Allegheny
Senior captain and PSUAC All-Conference goalkeeper Chris Klinger became Greater Allegheny's all-time shutout leader on Sept. 5 with a 6-0 shutout win against Theil College. The USCAA All-American honoree is now the all-time leader in wins, saves, minutes played and now shutouts for Greater Allegheny. Greater Allegheny is looking to snap its two-game losing streak at Christendom on Sept. 11 and will return home to play Penn State Lehigh Valley on Sept. 14.
