McKeesport, Pa - The Penn State Greater Allegheny men's soccer team went up against Thiel College, Tuesday afternoon, where Thiel came out on top, 5-0.
Greater Allegheny went into halftime down 1-0 to Thiel. The away team notched another goal ten minutes into the second half before they managed three late goals in the second half to propel their tally to 5-0.
Freshman goaltender Alex Wood (Rochville, Md./St. John's College) faced 19 shots on goal, putting a stop to 14.
Sophomore forward Manoj Sharma (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin) and freshman midfielder Marin Marina (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin) contributed three shots toward the Greater Allegheny offense.
