McKeesport, Pa. — In a thrilling double-overtime battle at Wunderly Gym, Penn State Greater Allegheny outlasted Penn State New Kensington, 73–71, on Sunday afternoon.
The victory moves Greater Allegheny to 11-13 on the season, while New Kensington falls to 2-16.
Back-and-Forth Battle
New Kensington jumped out to an early advantage, taking a 34–25 lead into halftime. Greater Allegheny responded with resilience in the second half, outscoring the visitors 32–23 to force overtime tied at 57.
The teams traded baskets in the first overtime period, each scoring eight points. In the second extra frame, Greater Allegheny made key defensive stops and timely free throws to secure the two-point victory.

Jordan Poole led the way with 19 points and eight rebounds across 48 minutes of action.
