Two Greater Allegheny Wrestlers Achieve Wins in the Washington and Jefferson Invitational

Washington, Pa. - Penn State Greater Allegheny men's wrestlers traveled to Washington and Jefferson, Saturday morning, for an their second meet of the 2014-15 season. 

Freshman Rodjrecko Christian (Pittsburgh, Pa./Westinghouse) debuted with three wins on the mat. The 285-pounder pinned Wheeling Jesuit's Miguel Staples in 0:56 seconds. He took a 7-0 decision from Waynesburg's Shane Lowman after he won by forfeit over Middlesex.

Freshman Taqee Burns (New York, N.Y./Benjamin N. Cardozo) also found a win today in Washington and Jefferson. Burns won by technical fall in a score of 16-1 over Washington and Lee's Josh Weldon. 

Greater Allegheny wrestling takes a break before their next match, as they are set to travel to Defiance's Quad-Meet December 6th. Time has yet to be determined.
