  • Clybourn/Hartley Take Home USCAA Honorable Mention Awards

    The USCAA announced their annual All-Americans on Sunday and two PSUGA women's basketball players were recognized. Tina Clybourn and Teaira Hartley each earned All-American Honorable Mention honors for their career seasons.

    Jordan Williams and Lexus Santiago both had big games last week on their way to PSUGA Athlete of the Week Awards. Williams got his season off to a bang with a 6-6 5 RBI effort while Santiago finished her season with 17 points and 18 rebounds.

    The PSUAC Announced it's 2018-2019 Women's Basketball All-Conference team on Friday and Tina Clybourn and Teaira Hartley each took home awards. Clybourn was a first-team West All-Conference player while Hartley took home All-Conference Honorable Mention.

    The PSUGA Athletics Department Announced their athletes of the week on Wednesday and Jordon Payne and Teaira Hartley took home the awards. Both have been leaders for PSUGA all season long and finished off strong.

    The PSUGA Women's Basketball team put up 30 points in the final quarter but it wasn't enough as they fell to PSU-Fayette 77-70 in the PSUAC Quarterfinals. LExus Santiago had a career day on both sides of the ball with 17 points and 18 rebounds.

    After a wild weekend of PSUAC playoff action, the 16 teams are set in both the men's and women's divisions that will fight for a PSUAC championship. The PSUGA Women are the #2 seed in the West while the Men are the #3 seed.

    The PSUGA Women's Basketball team cracked the top 10 in the USCAA poll for the first time in program history moving up one spot to the #10 position on Wednesday. The move comes after a 2-0 week including one of the biggest wins in school history when they beat Beaver 62-59 last week.
