McKeesport, Pa. - Penn State Greater Allegheny women's basketball stand-out senior power forward Christina Floyd (Philadelphia, Pa./Sts. Neumann-Goretti) was highlighted by not only the Penn State University Athletic Conference, but also the United States Collegiate Athletic Association for her major contributions through a 2-1 conference week.
Through three Penn State University Athletic Conference match-ups this past week, Floyd averaged 14.3 points per game as she shot 51.6% (16-of-31) from the field. The power forward also grabbed an average of 15.7 rebounds per contest as she led her team to a 2-1 record on the week. She contributed nine steals, four assists and one block through the week.
The senior forward currently leads the USCAA and PSUAC in rebounds per game with 17.4. Christina also reigns first place through the USCAA in total rebounds (295), offensive rebounds (133) and defensive rebounds (162).
This is the second time this season the senior has won the award from both the PSUAC and the USCAA.
