Four Greater Allegheny Men's Soccer Players Honored in PSUAC All-Conference Awards

University Park. Pa. - Four Greater Allegheny men's soccer standouts were honored by the Penn State University Athletic Conference for their hard-work through the 2014-15 season, as each of the student-athletes were awarded All-Conference accolades. 

Freshman Marin Marina (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin) was awarded with the First-Team All-Conference accolade, as the midfielder notched a team-leading 37 points in his first season with the Greater Allegheny Lions. He played in 16 games this season, hammering 45 shots, netting 16 with five assists. The freshman achieved three game-winning goals through the 6-8-2, 4-4-2 PSUAC season. Marina sat 4th in goals through the PSUAC as well as 4th in points and 5th in shots taken.

Forward Manoj Sharma (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin) earned the Second-Team All-Conference award, as the sophomore netted 29 points through his second season with GA. Sharma started 15 games for the blue and white, polishing off 13 goals with three assists, placing himself in 5th place in the PSUAC for goals. Sharma also hammered three game-winning goals for Greater Allegheny, two of them being huge Penn State University Athletic Conference victories. 

Sophomore Bengaly Diane (New Jersey/James J. Ferris) achieved Second-Team All-Conference, as the midfielder boosted Greater Allegheny's efforts through his second year of action with 29 points. Diane took eleven goals himself while dishing out seven others as the midfielder spread the ball throughout the field in eleven games played. Bengaly noted a game-winning goal in a Penn State University Athletic Conference match-up.

Lastly, sophomore Jordan Diaz (Gary, Ind./Merrillville) obtained a Second-Team All-Conference accolade as the defender moved the ball through 15 games for Greater Allegheny. The second-year starter managed four shots on net, concentrating on defending the Greater Allegheny goal.
