GA Men's Soccer Drop to Alfred State, 4-0

North Huntingdon, Pa. - The Penn State Greater Allegheny men's soccer team fell to Alfred State, Wednesday afternoon, by a tally of 4-0.

Greater Allegheny held Alfred State to 1-0 through halftime, as freshman goalkeeper Alex Wood (Rochville, Md. / St. John's College) and freshman goalkeeper Giovianni Vega (Aguadilla, Puerto Rico/Colegio San Carlos) faced 16 shots through the 45 minutes.

Wood saw eleven shots on goal, saving eight through his 66 minutes of action. Both sophomore midfielder Bengaly Diane (New Jersey/James J. Ferris) and freshman midfielder Nick Andrews (Penn Hills, Pa./Serra Catholic) recorded shots on goal on the Alfred State defense. 

Greater Allegheny (2-5-1, 1-1-1 PSUAC) travel to Penn State Brandywine for a Penn State University Athletic Conference match-up at Turner Valley Complex in North Huntingdon, Pa. Kick-off is set for 2 p.m.
