2016 SPRING FITNESS CHALLENGE WILL TAKE PLACE ON SATURDAY, APRIL 30, 2016 at 5:00PM!

Our Fitness Mania II competition will take place on SATURDAY, APRIL 30, 2016 at 5:00 PM in the FCC.  This is event is open to all Penn State students, faculty and staff.  PSU participants are permitted to BRING ONE FRIEND OUTSIDE OF PSU (who are enrolled in a College or University) to compete in the event.  Student IDs must be presented at the event.  The STRENGTH competition will take place in the campus Fitness Center from 5:00PM-8:00PM.  The ENDURANCE competition will take place from 8:00PM-10:00PM. 

A minimum donation of $10.00 OR a completed PLEDGE SHEET (with the money collected from the initial pledge donations) will be mandatory to compete in the event!  Pledge sheets will be emailed to you once you register for the event.  All donations will go to THON!  Medals will be awarded to both a male and female contestant in each event!

**Compete in ALL endurance events or ALL the strength events for a chance to win the GRAND PRIZE in that division.** YOU MUST REGISTER TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR PRIZES!

STRENGTH EVENTS (5:00 PM)
Strength (Male and Female awards for each event)
*Single Rep Max Bench– Highest weight wins
*Bench Your Bodyweight- Most reps wins (set weight for females at 85lbs)
*Squat Your Bodyweight- Most reps wins 
*Push Press- As many reps as possible
              (Male weight- 115lbs, Female weight- 65lbs)
*Deadlift (Bent-Knee)- Most reps wins
              (Male weight- 175lbs, Female weight– 85lbs)
*Tire Flips - Most reps in one minute wins
*Leg Squat Press Machine - Most reps wins (Male- 180lbs, Female– 90lbs)

STRENGTH GRAND PRIZE
Registrants who participate in ALL strength events can qualify for our GRAND PRIZE.  Each individual will accumulate points based on their individual results from each event.   There will be one grand prize for both a male and female winner.

ENDURANCE EVENTS (8:00 PM)
Endurance (Male and Female awards for each event)
*AMRAP Sit Ups- As many full sit-up reps as possible in 2 minutes
*AMRAP Push Ups- As many reps as possible in 2 minutes
*Plank-  Longest time elbow plank is held
*AMRAP Chin Ups- As many reps as possible until failure 
*Mile Run on Campus - Fastest time wins
*Wall Sits- Longest time held wins (Male - 45lbs, Female - 25lbs)
*Jump Rope—Longest continuous time without stopping wins (feel free to bring your own jump rope!)

ENDURANCE GRAND PRIZE
