McKeesport, Pa. - Sophomore Rachel Ramsey and freshmen Albree Weisen and Rachael Maiden are honored by the Penn State University Athletic Conference, and Ramsey by the United States Collegiate Athletic Association, for their efforts for Greater Allegheny in the week of September 16, 2014.

Ramsey (North Versailles, Pa./East Allegheny) earned PSUAC Student-Athlete of the Week alongside USCAA Runner of the Week for her efforts in the 3rd Annual Penn State Greater Allegheny Cross Country Invitational this past Saturday. Ramsey led her team to a fifth place finish in the 3rd annual Greater Allegheny Cross Country Invitational 5k by running a new season and course best time of 21:43. Her time shaved 16 seconds off the Greater Allegheny course record, a record which she also owned.
